Sezra Gay, a dedicated Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, deeply values the happiness of her clients. She understands that life's challenges can lead to feelings of stress, anxiety, self-doubt, depression, and trauma. With a passion for helping teens, adults, and families, Sezra focuses on guiding them through uncomfortable situations by fostering confidence, enhancing communication skills, and developing effective coping mechanisms. Her counseling sessions are designed to be professional, approachable, and goal-oriented, empowering clients to identify and address their inner struggles. By equipping individuals with the necessary skills, she helps them cope better and become resilient in the face of life's difficulties. With 15 years of experience in the field, Sezra has worked in various environments, including Outpatient Mental Health, Job Corps, and Florida State Prison, which has nurtured her compassion and empathy. Overcoming her own childhood trauma in high-risk communities and experiences of homelessness has further strengthened her ability to connect with others. Sezra is committed to alleviating emotional pain through practical application of her clinical skills and looks forward to helping you on your journey.
