Dr. Marc Kepner, a licensed psychologist with a PsyD, holds a Clinical Health Psychology degree and possesses valuable practicum training in working with children with developmental disabilities as well as adolescents and adults facing eating disorders at the Renfrew Center in Coconut Creek, FL. He has completed a Pre-Doctoral Internship at the Specialized Development Center within the Miami-Dade Public School System and has further honed his expertise through a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Dr. Kepner specializes in health psychology and developmental disabilities, skillfully providing evaluation, assessment, and diagnostic services. He is also certified in Triple P (Positive Parenting Practices) to assist families with behavior management. As a Staff Psychologist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, he works with children and adolescents grappling with ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood disorders, and various genetic syndromes. Dr. Kepner has a knack for testing children who are challenging to assess, performing nonverbal cognitive assessments, and addressing adjustment issues related to medical conditions and high-functioning ASD. He has a keen interest and experience in managing bereavement, gender identity, and GLBTQ issues. Dr. Kepner operates from two locations: Gainesville in Alachua County and Crystal River in Citrus County, providing flexible late afternoon and evening hours to accommodate families.
