Lauren Woodworth

Lauren Woodworth believes that therapy should be a sanctuary for safe expression. Her practice offers an empathetic environment where clients can freely articulate their thoughts and work collaboratively on their therapeutic goals. With a foundation built on honest and direct communication, she emphasizes compassionate, empathetic therapy tailored to the individual needs of her clients. Lauren works with clients aged 13 and older from diverse lifestyles and brings experience in tackling issues such as domestic violence, relationship counseling, and general therapeutic support. Her office serves as a supportive space for individuals across the spectrum of gender identities and sexual orientations, welcoming those involved in alternative lifestyles or non-traditional relationship units. Lauren understands the importance of allowing clients to define themselves and their unique family constructs. She holds a Master's in Social Work from Florida State University and has enriched her education with a minor in Gender Studies during her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. Her commitment to community service is evident through her volunteer work with domestic abuse shelters and the Alachua County Crisis Center.
