Jackie Serrano is a dedicated registered clinical social worker intern with 15 years of extensive experience in working with children and families. She has a profound ability to assist families in stabilization and crisis intervention, while providing vital community resources designed to help them thrive. Jackie's specialization lies in working with at-risk youth alongside the Department of Juvenile Justice, the State Attorney's Office, the Department of Children and Families, and various residential facilities. She uniquely utilizes art therapy to empower children through expressive therapy and is particularly passionate about helping young girls find their voice and build confidence. Jackie also works comprehensively with families to heal together from trauma as a cohesive unit. Her mission is to connect with those who are navigating life's challenges by exploring each individual’s strengths to build resilience and foster flourishing. Jackie believes that each person begins with an empty book filled with chapters that capture their life's journey, and she looks forward to co-creating a beautiful narrative with her clients. With a deep understanding of the struggles faced by youth labeled as at-risk, stemming from her own experiences, Jackie is committed to providing a compassionate environment where empathy thrives, ensuring a safe space for those seeking support and guidance.
