In Fort Walton Beach, FL, Family Support, under the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA), is dedicated to assisting individuals affected by Prader-Willi syndrome along with their families and care teams. Our Family Support team offers vital information and emotional support right when it’s needed most, guiding families through the often overwhelming experience following a diagnosis. We provide a range of services including parent mentoring, nutritional education and meal planning, behavior management support, and assistance with navigating Medicaid applications, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
