Marissa Kushner

Dr. Marissa Kushner, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist dedicated to providing exceptional individual therapy, behavioral parent training, and comprehensive psychological assessments. With expertise in cognitive-behavioral and behavioral approaches, she effectively addresses anxiety, ADHD, disruptive behavior problems, mood disorders, and interpersonal challenges. Specializing in Pediatric Psychology, Dr. Kushner has experience working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents facing obesity, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and feeding difficulties. She conducts thorough evaluations and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults suspected of learning disabilities, executive functioning challenges, or autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Kushner earned her Bachelor's degree from Emory University and completed her Master's and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park. She rounded out her training with externships and internships at the Children’s National Medical Center and Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, followed by a residency at Georgetown Psychology Associates in Maryland.
