Literacy in Pre-school (FLIP) Program

The Literacy in Pre-school (FLIP) Program in Fort Myers, FL, is dedicated to nurturing healthy eating habits in young children through engaging food literacy education. Our passionate volunteers guide preschoolers in exploring the origins of food, how it is cultivated, and share simple, nutritious recipes that can transform fresh produce into delightful snacks. Each child not only learns about healthy choices but also takes home a snack made from fresh produce, encouraging family involvement. We also organize periodic meetings with family members, fostering a collaborative environment where families can learn together and support each other's journey towards better nutrition and well-being.
