At Food Assistance in Fort Myers, FL, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance to our community each week, ensuring that every individual and family is treated with the utmost respect and care. Our services include a well-stocked food pantry, where clients can choose from canned and dried goods, perishables like meat and produce, and baked items during designated hours. Specifically, our food pantry operates on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., while anyone in need is welcomed to enjoy a warm hot meal, served every evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. These meals, prepared either by local restaurants or in our Red Shield Lodge kitchen, have become a vital resource, with volunteers serving an average of 674 meals weekly. Additionally, we provide access to a shower station for those who need it. We invite everyone in Fort Myers facing hunger to come and access the support and nourishment they deserve.
