The Cupboard

The Cupboard, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is a kosher food pantry dedicated to supporting individuals and families in the Jewish community of Broward County facing food insecurity. We specifically assist those living at or below 150 percent of the poverty line by offering a compassionate, whole-person approach to food assistance. Our clients benefit from a choice market layout, allowing them to select nutritious, kosher food from a variety of non-perishable staples, canned goods, fresh produce, and available meat and frozen items. In addition to providing emergency food support, we connect recipients with vital resources, including information about government benefits. Our process prioritizes privacy and dignity, with clients meeting one-on-one with our caring professionals to assess their overall needs during pre-arranged appointments.
