Lidia Cardone brings over 30 years of experience in evaluating and treating adults and couples. After training in both Chicago and New York, she has been a dedicated member of the South Florida community since 1992. With a private practice established in 1991, Lidia also served as the Director of Adult Outpatient Psychology Services at Jackson Memorial Hospital for 13 years and holds Adjunct Faculty status at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Her diverse background includes a strong psychodynamic foundation, complemented by proficiency in various theoretical approaches and treatment methods, making her an adept practitioner for a range of mental health issues. Lidia specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, relationship issues, life transitions, and grief. She is also skilled in addressing family dynamics and spirituality challenges. The main objectives of her therapeutic approach focus on helping individuals develop insight, internal strength, and improved functioning. Lidia provides comprehensive initial evaluations to conceptualize and present tailored treatment plans during the initial consultation. Fluent in Spanish and Italian, she accommodates a diverse clientele and offers intake appointments during the morning and afternoon, Monday through Friday.
