Rudina Richter

Rudina Richter, MA, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 30 years of experience in addressing various challenges including (pre-)marital issues, parent-child dynamics, same-sex relationships, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, bereavement, and stress management. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, reflecting her belief that individuals can sometimes fall into patterns that leave them feeling victimized by their life circumstances. Rudina is dedicated to equipping clients with a new toolbox of skills, empowering them to navigate their lives with greater confidence. Having been in a dual career relationship herself for over 40 years alongside her husband, who is also her business partner, she deeply understands the stresses and challenges that such partnerships entail. By enhancing communication, goal-setting, and problem-solving skills, Rudina and her clients work collaboratively to reshape their responses to life's hurdles. With her unique background that includes a Master's degree in research microbiology, owning a pottery business, and experience as an adjunct instructor at HCC teaching various psychology courses, Rudina offers a rich tapestry of insights to her practice, which she and her husband established in 1978.
