Dr. Pamela Baker is a Licensed Psychologist who obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Miami, where she also completed a double minor in Sociology and French. Following her undergraduate education, she pursued further studies at Nova Southeastern University, earning both her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.). Dr. Baker works with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and elders. Her primary theoretical orientation is rooted in Carl Rogers’ Humanistic Person-Centered approach, which serves as the framework for her practice. However, she also implements a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-informed therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored to each individual's needs. With extensive experience addressing issues related to anxiety disorders, mood disorders—including Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar Disorder—ADHD, grief, attachment concerns, LGBTQIA-related issues, adjustment difficulties, low self-esteem, and poor body image, Dr. Baker is dedicated to fostering resilience and well-being in her clients through a compassionate and mindful approach.
