With 30 years of combined clinical training and experience in Florida and New York, particularly at Maimonides Medical Center in Adult & Child Psychiatry and in the Syosset Central School District, Dr. Ferrante has dedicated his career to improving the emotional well-being of both adults and children. As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, he also administers psycho-educational tests to address academic challenges, paving the way for essential interventions and accommodations in public and private schools as well as college entrance examination processes. Dr. Ferrante offers psychotherapy as a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with clients, focusing on clarifying the meaning of their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and interpersonal experiences. His goal is to alleviate conflict, enhance self-understanding and acceptance, and increase capacity for work, love, and play.
