Anna Owens

Dr. Anna Owens understands that transitions can bring about significant changes in an individual's life, often leading to heightened anxiety, stress, and fear. As a skilled Counselor, she utilizes a solution-focused approach that aims to foster goal-oriented sessions, helping clients achieve the results they desire. Dr. Owens collaborates with clients to explore and address various aspects of their lives, facilitating small adjustments that can lead to a more fulfilling daily existence. Through her compassionate counseling, individuals can share their stories within a safe, confidential, and healing environment. Her personal practice and research interests encompass life transitions, anxiety relief, living with depression, the academic needs of secondary and post-secondary students, adolescent self-harm, and social and emotional learning interventions both at home and in school. With advanced knowledge in exceptional student education, including gifted placement, IEPs, 504 accommodations, and Response to Intervention (RtI), Dr. Owens has spent years as a Certified School Counselor in Palm Beach and a mental health provider. She has successfully supported thousands of students, parents, teachers, and educational stakeholders, enabling her to guide clients toward achieving a balanced life across home, work, and school.
