Making the Connection is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of underserved middle-grade youth and their families in Windsor, CT, through a dynamic blend of health and fitness activities and nutrition education. Collaborating closely with the City of Hartford and Hartford Public Schools, we aim to address and reduce health disparities faced by minority children who often lack access to physical activities and healthy eating options. By empowering 100 local youth through engaging programs, we strive to foster a community that values fitness and nutrition, ultimately creating a healthier future for our families.
