Located in Waterford, CT, the Family Support Center Program is dedicated to empowering at-risk families by offering a welcoming, comprehensive environment where they can enhance their parenting skills, receive emotional support, and gain access to vital resources. Our services include peer support, counseling, and educational programs such as parenting and cooking/nutrition classes, as well as assistance with basic needs like baby equipment, formula, diapers, and clothing. While parents engage in activities at our center, children benefit from supervised playrooms designed for their developmental needs. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are focusing on providing emergency supplies, including formula and diapers, and have adapted our home visiting and fatherhood services to virtual formats to ensure the safety of our families and staff. We remain a steadfast support hub, committed to guiding families in navigating life's challenges and fostering a nurturing community environment.
