MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Uncasville, CT, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and provided with tailored referrals to the appropriate weight management services. We offer a variety of options to meet individual needs, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for personalized in-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management. For those who require additional assistance, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. We invite Veterans interested in improving their health to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
