Connecticut WIC, located in Stafford Springs, CT, is dedicated to ensuring low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years of age, have access to essential food assistance and vital resources. Our program focuses on promoting healthy eating habits through comprehensive nutrition education, support with breastfeeding, and referrals to health and social services. Participants receive an Electronic Benefits Card, enabling them to purchase nutritious foods that contribute to their well-being. While our offices are currently operating by phone appointment only due to COVID-19, we encourage new applicants to reach out and discover the support available to them during this critical stage of life.
