The Holocaust Survivors Program at Jewish Family Services in Southington, CT, is dedicated to supporting Holocaust survivors by empowering them to remain in their homes and out of institutional settings for as long as possible. Our comprehensive services include counseling, emergency assistance for unexpected expenses, ongoing support with home care costs, and guidance on applications for reparations and compensation programs. We also proudly offer access to the JFS Anja Rosenberg kosher food pantry. Many of our services are need-based and provided at no cost to eligible survivors, while others are available to all survivors without charge. We understand the unique challenges faced by this community and work diligently to provide compassionate, practical assistance tailored to their needs, helping to nurture their independence and dignity.
