Meals on Wheels, part of Community Renewal Team in Rocky Hill, CT, is dedicated to delivering nutritious, home-cooked meals to seniors who are medically homebound across Middlesex, Tolland, and Hartford counties. Our program not only ensures that clients receive healthy lunches but also offers vital volunteer check-ins for additional support and companionship. We cater to specific dietary needs and recommend a small donation of $3.00 per meal to help sustain our services, though no individual will ever be turned away due to inability to pay. Referrals can be made by healthcare professionals and local social services. After a brief interview and/or home visit to assess eligibility, we aim to start meal deliveries within two days, providing immediate assistance to those in need.
