The Holocaust Survivors Program at Jewish Family Services in Plainville, CT is dedicated to supporting the unique needs of Holocaust survivors by enabling them to stay in their homes and maintain their independence for as long as possible. This compassionate program offers vital services including counseling, emergency assistance for unexpected expenses, ongoing support for home care costs, and guidance for applications to reparations and compensation programs. Survivors also have access to the JFS Anja Rosenberg kosher food pantry. Many services are need-based and provided at no charge to eligible survivors, while others are freely available to all survivors. Additionally, certain clinical services may be covered by Medicare and other insurance.
