Connecticut WIC, located in Oxford, CT, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and young children up to five years old through the Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program. Our mission is to empower families by providing essential resources, including nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to vital health and social services. Participants benefit from our Electronic Benefits Card, which enables them to purchase nutritious foods that foster healthy eating habits. Although we are currently offering phone appointments due to COVID-19, we warmly welcome new applicants to reach out to us or locate their nearest WIC office for assistance in applying for this critical food assistance program.
