Care & Share of East Lyme is a dedicated volunteer-driven organization offering comprehensive food assistance and emergency support to families and individuals in East Lyme, Niantic, and Salem, Connecticut. Our year-round food pantry supplies not only nutritious food but also essential household and cleaning products. We extend our reach by delivering bread and seasonal food baskets directly to those in need. In addition to food support, we provide emergency financial, housing, and energy assistance, along with camp scholarships and college scholarships for local youths. Throughout the winter holidays, we foster community spirit through a winter coat program, special food and gift baskets, and a free gift store for families celebrating Christmas or Chanukah. We are committed to ensuring that every member of our community receives the support they need, especially local school children who benefit from our emergency snacks and clothing initiatives.
