Located in Mystic, CT, the Family Support Center Program is a welcoming hub dedicated to providing vital resources and support for at-risk families. Our mission is to empower parents by enhancing their parenting skills and offering emotional and practical assistance to stabilize their family unit. We offer a wide range of services including peer support, counseling, and access to essential household items. Parents can benefit from parenting and cooking classes, while also engaging in adult education and English as a second language programs. Children can play safely in our supervised playrooms, ensuring a nurturing environment while their parents receive the help they need. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we focus on providing emergency supplies like formula and diapers, along with modified home visiting and virtual services to ensure safety.
