Connecticut WIC in Mystic, CT is dedicated to empowering low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years old, by promoting healthy food habits and nutrition education. Our program offers essential services such as nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health and social service programs, all designed to foster better health for families. Participants receive an Electronic Benefits Card to help purchase nutritious foods, making healthy eating accessible and affordable. Though our offices are currently offering phone appointments due to COVID-19, we encourage those who are not yet enrolled to reach out for assistance or to apply for our supportive food assistance program.
