Susan M. Hogan, MA, LPC-S, known affectionately as Sunne, is a compassionate therapist at Heading Health. Having grown up in the vibrant metro-Boston area, Susan earned her BA in 1997 from UMass Lowell, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies. She relocated to Dallas, TX, in 2000 to pursue her graduate studies, graduating with her MA in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University in 2005. Since obtaining her full licensure in 2008, she has dedicated herself to supporting clients facing PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Her passion lies in helping those who feel helpless and hopeless navigate their challenges. Living with her beloved partner and their two cats, Charlotte and PatPat, in Dallas, Susan enjoys reading, utilizing the indoor rower, and running in her free time. Her diverse therapeutic skill set includes Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and more, allowing her to address a wide range of general and specialized mental health issues.
