Lisa Ford is a licensed professional counselor with extensive credentials (LPC, LADC, LMHC, MAC, CASAC) who serves the safety-sensitive population by addressing mental health and emotional disorders, as well as substance use disorders and recovery. She is deeply attentive to the individual needs of her clients, fostering a non-judgmental space where issues can be explored and understood collaboratively. Recognizing the importance of relationship building, Lisa works alongside her clients to find resolutions that resonate with their personal journeys. Her approach is both reality-based and solution-focused, offering support throughout the Mental Health and Addiction Recovery processes. Additionally, as someone in recovery herself, Lisa facilitates co-occurring recovery groups, enhancing her understanding and empathy. She has been an active member of NAADAC since 2005 and offers Christian counseling, utilizing the credentialing from the Association of Biblical Counselors upon request. Her qualifications include successful completion of the NBCC Boards Exams (NCE CT and NCMHCE FL) and she is also recognized as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
