Located in Jewett City, CT, the Family Support Center Program is dedicated to uplifting at-risk families through a welcoming, one-stop center designed to enhance parenting skills and provide vital emotional support. Our comprehensive services include peer support, counseling, information referrals, and emergency assistance with basic needs. We offer essential resources such as household items, baby equipment, diapers, clothing, and food assistance, alongside educational programs like parenting and cooking classes. While families engage in our programs, children are cared for in supervised playrooms, fostering healthy development and social interaction. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are adapting our services to focus on emergency supplies, including formula and diapers, and transitioning some programs to virtual formats to ensure safety.
