The Holocaust Survivors Program at Jewish Family Services in East Hartford, CT, is dedicated to empowering Holocaust survivors by ensuring they can remain in their homes and live with dignity. Our program offers essential support services, including counseling, emergency financial assistance for unexpected expenses, and ongoing help with home care costs. We also guide survivors through applications for reparations and compensation programs, ensuring they receive the support they deserve. Additionally, we provide access to the JFS Anja Rosenberg kosher food pantry. Many of our services are need-based and offered at no charge to qualifying survivors, while others are available to all survivors at no cost. Some clinical services may be covered by Medicare and other insurance plans, addressing the diverse needs of our community members with compassion and commitment.
