Amber Madeux, LCSW, is an outgoing and energetic clinical social worker and therapist with a deep passion for supporting children, families, and adults in their journey toward healing. Since her school days, Amber has aspired to be a psychotherapist, drawing from her experiences with clients facing challenges such as self-harm, depression, anxiety, and behavioral difficulties. She recognizes that children often carry the weight of familial dysfunction and employs a compassionate approach to help them manage these struggles. Amber believes that starting with one family member can pave the way for collective growth and healing within the entire family unit. She specializes in Adlerian Play Therapy, which empowers children to express themselves and navigate their challenges in a language that feels natural to them. Additionally, Amber is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), continually seeking to expand her knowledge and incorporate evidence-based practices into her therapy. Her diverse experience includes roles such as an intensive community-based therapist, emergency mobile crisis clinician for children aged 0-17, multi-dimensional family therapy therapist, and psychiatric clinician.
