Family Grants is dedicated to supporting families in Cheshire, CT who have experienced the loss of a loved one to breast cancer. Our mission is to alleviate the financial and logistical burdens that often accompany such profound loss, offering a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each family. We provide funding for essential services such as summer camp fees, childcare, counseling, tutoring, and extracurricular activities for children, along with meal support and wellness classes. Recognizing that each family's situation is different, we also welcome suggestions for assistance outside our listed services. Our aim is to provide timely support, with grant applications processed within three to four weeks, ensuring that families facing immediate financial challenges can receive help when they need it most. We primarily assist families in New England who find themselves struggling and ineligible for other funding sources, aiming to offer a compassionate starting point for recovery and rebuilding.
