Making the Connection, located in Bloomfield, CT, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of underserved middle-grade youth and their families in the Hartford area. By coordinating engaging health and fitness activities alongside essential nutrition education, we strive to address and reduce health disparities faced by poor and minority children. Our program collaborates closely with the City of Hartford and Hartford Public Schools to ensure that every participant has access to vital resources that promote healthy lifestyles and combat the challenges of inadequate physical activity and poor eating habits. We believe in empowering our youth through knowledge and activity, fostering a community of healthier families.
