Essential Needs Grant Program for Cancer Patients

Located in Vail, CO, the Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation is dedicated to supporting cancer patients through our Essential Needs Grant Program. We understand the financial burden that medical costs can impose, and our mission is to alleviate some of that pressure by providing crucial financial assistance to help meet basic daily needs during treatment. Our grants are available for both adults and pediatric patients currently undergoing cancer treatment or who are no more than a month post-treatment. To apply, patients must complete a Medical Verification with assistance from their treatment facility's social worker, nurse, or patient navigator. Each month, we prioritize grant applications based on financial hardship and individual circumstances, with awards of $750 for adults and $1,000 for pediatric patients. In urgent cases, we offer emergency grants which can be processed within 48 hours, reflecting our commitment to providing timely support for those in dire need. We are here to empower patients and strive to ensure that essential needs are met during their cancer journey.
