WIC (Women, Infants & Children)

At WIC (Women, Infants & Children) based in UsaF Academy, CO, we are committed to empowering women and their children by providing essential food assistance and nutritional education. Our program offers eligible clients vouchers for a range of nutritious foods, including milk, cheese, eggs, juice, and dried beans or peanut butter. In addition to food support, we provide education on important topics such as breastfeeding, childhood obesity, child development, and infant feeding. We proudly offer free lactation services, with dedicated support through breastfeeding peer counselors, lactation consultations, and monthly classes in both English and Spanish. Our goal is to ensure that every mother can confidently nourish her child and gain access to community resources, promoting healthier families in El Paso County.
