Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Silt, CO, is dedicated to nurturing the health of families by providing essential food assistance and supportive services at no cost to eligible Colorado residents. Our mission is to empower pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under the age of five by offering nutritious groceries, personalized nutrition consultations, and comprehensive breastfeeding support. To qualify for WIC, applicants must reside in Colorado, have low family income, and meet specific criteria related to pregnancy or young children. Families already enrolled in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Food Stamps, or Medicaid automatically meet the income requirements.
