The Essential Needs Grant Program for Cancer Patients, operated by the Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation in Rifle, CO, is dedicated to providing vital financial assistance to individuals facing the overwhelming challenges of cancer treatment. Understanding the heavy burden that medical costs can impose, especially on those with limited insurance and low income, our program offers timely support to ensure that basic daily needs are met. We invite adult and pediatric cancer patients currently undergoing treatment, or who have recently completed their treatment, to apply for grants designed to alleviate financial strain. Each month, our Grants Committee reviews applications that include essential medical verification from healthcare professionals. Grants are awarded based on financial necessity, with amounts of $750 for adults and $1,000 for children, and in certain urgent cases, we can expedite emergency assistance within 48 hours. Our mission is to empower cancer patients by lessening their immediate financial burdens, enabling them to focus on their health and recovery.
