Women, Infants & Children - WIC

Women, Infants & Children (WIC) in Parachute, CO, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of women, infants, and children through our special supplemental nutrition program. Funded by the federal government, WIC offers valuable nutrition education, access to healthful foods, and essential health referrals for eligible participants, including pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. To qualify, individuals must undergo a nutritional risk screening and meet specific income criteria, such as participation in Medicaid, Food Stamps, or TANF, which automatically ensures income eligibility.
