Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in Pagosa Springs, CO, is dedicated to providing essential nutritional support for pregnant women, infants, and young children. Operated by San Juan Basin Public Health, our program ensures that families have access to nutritious food assistance through our convenient eWIC debit card system. We offer vital services including personalized nutrition assessments, education, and referrals, as well as breastfeeding support to promote healthy development. Our Durango office welcomes walk-in appointments on Fridays for existing WIC clients in need of follow-ups, mid-certification, or re-certification. We encourage new clients to schedule appointments, and we want the community to know that those receiving Health First Colorado (Medicaid) or exceeding the income limits may still qualify for WIC.
