Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a vital nutrition program located in New Castle, Colorado, dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under the age of five. WIC offers a range of services, including access to nutritious food, personalized nutrition consultations, and valuable breastfeeding support. Our mission is to ensure families receive the assistance they need to thrive by providing financial aid for healthy food, referrals to medical and dental care, and education on nutrition and health topics like meal planning and managing picky eaters. Eligible participants include families living in Colorado with low incomes, including those receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Food Stamps, or Medicaid, as well as foster children under age five.
