The Essential Needs Grant Program for Cancer Patients, part of the Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation in Milliken, CO, is dedicated to providing critical financial assistance to individuals facing the hardships of cancer treatment. We understand the burden that mounting medical costs can place on patients and their families, which is why we offer grants to help cover essential daily needs. Our support is available to both adult and pediatric patients actively receiving treatment or those recently finished. Each month, our Grants Committee evaluates applications submitted alongside medical verification from treatment facilities, prioritizing those with the most urgent needs based on financial circumstances and personal situations. While standard grants are available up to $750 for adults and $1,000 for children on a limited basis, we also recognize that emergencies can arise. In cases of dire financial need, we can expedite support through emergency grants approved within 48 hours. Our mission is to alleviate some of the financial stress faced during this challenging time, ensuring that every patient can focus on their health and recovery without the constant worry of daily expenses.
