Deb Silver

Deb Silver is a compassionate therapist who specializes in helping individuals navigate relationship struggles, change old patterns, and work through various forms of trauma—be it personal, physical, emotional, systemic, intergenerational, or historical. She is dedicated to supporting her clients in accessing their inner resources and strengths to connect them with their resilience. Understanding that everyone holds the wisdom and strength needed to progress through life, Deb helps to untangle the complex, metaphorical pile of yarn that often clouds one's internal landscape. A firm believer in the complexity of the individual, she embraces all aspects of identity, culture, and intersectionality as guiding sources to wholeness. As a somatic dance/movement therapist, Deb integrates sensation, emotion, and movement into the verbal storytelling process, creating a holistic approach that unifies mind and body. Through an anti-oppression lens, she fosters an understanding of her clients' internal stories and how these narratives are shaped by relational, cultural, and societal experiences. As a white, cis-woman of Jewish descent, she collaborates with her clients to support their growth in relationship to themselves, others, and their environment, providing culturally relevant and trauma-informed counseling for individuals, relationships, and groups.
