Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Longmont, CO US
In Longmont, CO, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to enhancing the health of pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under five by providing essential food assistance and support services at no cost. WIC offers personalized nutrition consultations, breastfeeding education and referrals, and vital financial assistance to help families access nutritious groceries. Additionally, our program connects participants to medical and dental care, health insurance, childcare, and housing resources, all aimed at fostering wellness for the entire family. We also provide valuable nutrition and health education on a diverse range of topics, including meal planning, managing picky eaters, and balancing work with breastfeeding. To qualify for WIC, you must reside in Colorado, be pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a child under five with a household income below WIC guidelines. Families receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Food Stamps, or Medicaid are automatically deemed eligible. Foster children under five also qualify for WIC services. We encourage eligible families to reach out to their local WIC clinic to apply and begin their journey towards improved health and nutrition.
