With extensive experience in roles such as social worker, foster/adoptive specialist for DHS, elementary school special education paraprofessional, pre-kindergarten teacher, and behavioral health rehabilitation/case manager, Theresa's background is rich and diverse. Residing in Shawnee, OK for the past 30 years, she is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Oklahoma, offering online counseling in Colorado and traditional sessions in Oklahoma. As a devoted mother to four daughters aged 24, 22, 18, and 13, and guardian to a 17-year-old boy, Theresa understands the complexities of family dynamics and the importance of strong peer relationships. Currently in the dissertation phase of her Doctoral program in Counseling Education and Supervision, she is a proud member of Chi Sigma Iota (Counseling Honor Society), graduating summa cum laude. Additionally, Theresa is involved with the American Counseling Association, the Oklahoma Counseling Association, and the Association for Counseling Education and Supervision.
