Selma Schimmel Vital Grant

The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, located in Lamar, Colorado, is dedicated to providing essential financial support to individuals grappling with the impact of chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens faced by those in significant financial hardship by offering utility assistance and grocery assistance. We understand that these basic needs are critical during challenging times, and while the grant can cover either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with other organizations to connect recipients with additional support resources. We are here to help individuals navigate their difficulties with compassion and targeted assistance.
