Elder Share: a program of Community Food Share

Elder Share, a dedicated program of Community Food Share, serves the needs of adults aged 60 and older in Boulder and Broomfield Counties by providing essential food assistance. Every month, seniors receive free groceries, including fresh produce, dairy, meats, frozen goods, and pantry staples, ensuring access to nutritious meals. We understand that fixed incomes, homebound situations, or other challenges can make accessing healthy food difficult, which is why Elder Share is committed to supporting older adults with convenient bi-monthly distributions. Eligibility is simple: if you are 60 or older and reside in either Boulder or Broomfield County, you can benefit from our services. Caregivers and family members are also welcomed to register and pick up food on behalf of others, ensuring that everyone in our community can enjoy healthy, nourishing food.
