Community Food Assistance

Community Food Assistance, located in Ignacio, CO, is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity by providing essential emergency food services to all residents of La Plata County, with a special focus on vulnerable populations such as children, seniors, and struggling families. Our mission includes drive-up food distributions every Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm, where individuals can conveniently receive food without needing to leave their vehicles. We also offer home delivery services for households at risk of food insecurity or without transportation. Additionally, we distribute diapers, wipes, and infant formula while supplies last, ensuring that urgent needs are met for those in our community.
