Essential Needs Grant Program for Cancer Patients

The Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation, located in Grand Junction, CO, is dedicated to alleviating the burdens faced by cancer patients struggling to meet their essential daily needs due to the financial strain of medical costs. Our Essential Needs Grant Program offers crucial financial assistance, primarily targeting adult and pediatric patients currently undergoing cancer treatment or recently completed it. We prioritize applications based on individual financial circumstances and medical situations, understanding that many of our applicants live at or below the poverty level. Grants of $750 for adult patients and $1,000 for pediatric patients are available on an annual basis, with the potential for emergency grants approved within 48 hours based on dire needs identified by a caseworker. To apply, candidates must submit a Medical Verification from their treatment facility, allowing us to provide support that truly makes a difference during their challenging journey.
