Emergency Food Program

Located in Grand Junction, CO, the Emergency Food Program is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to those in need, including low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission is to ensure that every resident in Mesa County has access to nutritious food through our emergency food pantry, which allows individuals to select their own groceries while adhering to MyPlate nutritional guidelines. We offer a diverse range of options, including canned and dried goods, fresh produce, bread, meat, and dairy. Additionally, we provide resource navigation and assistance with SNAP applications to help clients in their journey towards food security. Mesa County residents can receive an emergency food box once a week, reflecting our commitment to supporting our community with care and urgency.
