Choice Food Pantry

At Choice Food Pantry in Fruita, CO, we are dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to all members of our community, including low-income families, single parents, seniors, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and anyone facing hardship. Our mission is to ensure everyone has access to healthy, nutritious food through our choice pantry model, which allows clients to select their own groceries while adhering to MyPlate nutritional guidelines. We offer a wide range of options, from canned and dried goods to fresh produce, bread, meat, and dairy products, all aimed at meeting the basic nutritional needs of our visitors. Mesa County residents can access emergency food boxes up to 24 times a year, with visits allowed once per week. In addition to food assistance, we provide resource navigation and SNAP application help to further support our clients.
