WIC (Women, Infants & Children)

Located in Fountain, CO, El Paso County Public Health's WIC program supports women, infants, and children by offering essential food assistance, nutrition education, and referrals to various community resources. Through WIC, eligible clients receive vouchers for vital nutritious foods including milk, cheese, eggs, cereal, juice, and dried beans or peanut butter. Our education sessions cover important topics like breastfeeding, childhood obesity, child development, feeding infants, and overall nutrition, equipping mothers with the knowledge needed for optimal health. We also provide comprehensive lactation services, free of charge, including access to breastfeeding peer counselors, support groups at our Southeast WIC Clinic, hospital-grade breast pumps, expert consultations, and monthly classes offered in both English and Spanish.
